New paintings that I have been working on over the summer will be on show at the Affordable Art Fair, London , where I am represented by the Sarah Wiseman Gallery, Oxford .
This October at AAF, 110 galleries from across the UK and overseas will exhibit contemporary art under £3,000.

After several visits along the gorge in the late Summer I have produced a small group of paintings for this exhibition. The Palette of colours was new for me and entirely the result of the amazing reflected light that I was lucky enough to find each time I went.

I am delighted to be taking part in this exhibition which is curated by Tim Boon who exhibited my work for a number of years when he was at the Alpha House Gallery, Sherborne. The De Morgan Centre in south west London is the permanent home for work by William De Morgan, the Victorian ceramic artist and his Wife Evelyn, the painter.

Book Launch : Upwey
The Book Launch for the book Justin Cooke The Ridgeway took place last weekend along side a accompanying exhibition of all the paintings from the book.
 | After much work over the past few months I can announce the publication date of my book. Justin Cooke The Ridgeway will be launched at an exhibition at Upwey, Dorset on the 1 st of December 2007 . It is a 100 page hardback with over 56 illustrations of paintings inspired by the magnificent Landscape of the South Dorset Ridgeway. Just over a year in the making it represents a study of the landscape I have known well since childhood. Exhibitions of the paintings illustrated in the book will start with the Launch at Upwey and continue at the Alpha House Gallery, Sherborne and the Atrium Gallery, Bournemouth University, both in January 2008 and Sarah Wiseman Gallery, Oxford in February 2008. |

I am delighted to announce that I will be taking part in this year’s Bournemouth University Art Loan Collection. This is a twelve month exhibition for which eighteen selected artist loan work to the University for Exhibition.
I have chosen to exhibit a work called Ridgeway Field. This is the painting with which I won an award at the Royal West of England Academy last year.
